They’ve gathered together everything from a Morgan Three-Wheeler to a Lamborghini Aventador at the Top Gear test track at Dunsfold for a serious two days of hooning and madness.

It seems Ferrari are planning an elite club of VIP Ferrari owners who will get the chance to buy limited edition Ferraris first. When Ferrari has a special car – like an Enzo or the new Aperta – there are never going to be enough cars to satisfy the list of potential customers. Which is the point.
Now this should have rung an alarm bell or two at the time, but it seems it didn’t. Back in November the world’s largest Lamborghini dealership – Lamborghini Orange County – turned up its toes and closed the doors, apparently a victim of the downturn in car sales. Not the oddest story in these times admittedly, but a bit odd when you consider that Lamborghini OC was reckoned to be responsible for 10% of Lamborghini’s sales worldwide, shifting around 240 cars a year.
